Aziz (120 Film)
I am a photographer and printmaker based in Kuwait. Since my childhood, I remember how curious I was around a camera and always wanted to be the one using it.
I gravitated towards analogue means of photography in 2015 and started shooting film. I was just shooting for the years to come.
I got interested in the technical aspects behind film photography in 2022 and took a film development class at Khemia'e Darkroom Kuwait. Seeing the pictures I took and then developed made the process much more intimate. It sparked my curiosity to explore and learn Darkroom and Alternative Printing at The Darkroom Cairo. With the experience gained, I created a DIY darkroom at home and kept experimenting. I then collaborated with Khemia'e Darkroom to give workshops and organise events.
